Quotations

All quotations provided are estimated, no-obligation prices based on the information available at the time of quoting.

Final costs may vary if further work, replacement parts, external components, ancillary parts, or additional repairs are required once the vehicle and engine have been inspected.

All prices are subject to VAT unless stated otherwise.

Engine Reconditioning Work

Our engine reconditioning service may include stripping the engine to component level, cleaning, inspection, pressure testing, machining where required, replacement of selected internal components, reassembly, oil pressure checks, and compression testing.

The exact work carried out will depend on the condition of the engine, vehicle make and model, parts availability, and the agreed scope of work.

Bare engine reconditioning does not include external or ancillary parts unless specifically stated in the quotation.

Engine Condition

The existing engine must be in a repairable and serviceable condition.

The following components must be repairable or serviceable where applicable:

  • Cylinder head
  • Cylinder block
  • Camshafts
  • Cam carrier
  • Crankshaft
  • Connecting rods
  • Oil pump

If any parts are found to be beyond repair or unsuitable for reuse, additional charges may apply.

External and Ancillary Parts

External and ancillary parts are not included in the quoted price unless clearly stated.

This may include, but is not limited to:

  • Turbocharger
  • Injectors
  • External engine parts
  • Ancillary components

All external parts will be inspected. If any external or ancillary parts require repair or replacement, this will be quoted separately.

Parts Used

We use high-quality OEM-standard parts where required for the agreed reconditioning work.

Parts replaced may include items such as timing chain kits or timing belt kits, gasket sets, bearings, seals, piston rings, oil filters, and other internal engine components, depending on the agreed work and engine condition.

Fitting and Workshop Work

Engines are fitted in our own workshop unless otherwise agreed.

Labour charges, recovery charges, fitting costs, and any additional work will be listed separately where applicable.

Turnaround Time

The estimated turnaround time is usually around 7–10 working days, depending on the vehicle make and model, the extent of work required, and parts availability. Turnaround times are estimates only and are not guaranteed.

Warranty

Warranty cover applies only where stated in the quotation or invoice.

Warranty coverage is limited to the items specifically included in the agreed warranty terms. Where applicable, the warranty may cover engine internal parts and labour.

The warranty does not cover external parts, ancillary parts, wear-and-tear items, or parts not included in the original quoted work unless otherwise confirmed in writing.

Warranty may be affected if the vehicle is misused, poorly maintained, modified, repaired elsewhere without approval, or driven after a fault or warning light appears.

Payments

Accepted payment methods may include cash or bank transfer.

Payment terms will be confirmed at the time of booking or invoice.

Vehicle Updates

Where possible, customers may be updated during the work through phone calls, pictures, or videos.

Additional Work

If additional faults, damaged parts, or required repairs are identified during inspection or reconditioning, the customer will be informed before further chargeable work is carried out.

Opening Hours

Opening hours may vary and should be confirmed before visiting.
